Manufacturing Engineer - Electronics/pcba Assembly - HCMC

Looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer who is capable to deliver technical support at Manufacturing Service providers (OEM) during NPI and ongoing production, support on technical issues that impact NPI schedules and production timeline. This role is based out of Supply chain SEA region under Global Supplier Development organization.
Description
The ideal Manufacturing Engineer, reported directly to the Regional Head of Engineering, will be responsible for the following activities:
* Managing supplier lists to ensure correct part numbers, quantities, reference designators etc. are compliant with customer provided BOM's.
* Assisting suppliers with identifying and requesting per customer requirements.
* Validating supplier process instructions to ensure all drawing/specification requirements are captured.
* Lead Cost factor mapping and driving improvement. Drive processing improvement. Working with suppliers to optimize process parameters and tooling during NPI.
* Performing inspections with suppliers against drawing requirements, PMEA, PPAP focal.
* Support EC implementations between supplier and customer.
* Liaising with customer based Engineering to clarify ambiguous drawing requirements, initiate drawing changes. Explaining effectivity, design changes and implementation of Engineering Changes.
* Provide recommendations for process improvements to address quality issues.
* Lead NPI, FAI and control build activities.
* Assisting with RCCA investigations/DIVE chart preparation.
* Provide Engineering justification for the acceptance of non-conforming hardware.
Profile
The preferred candidate has Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Electronics or related discipline, combined with at least 7 years experience in aviation OEM industry with proven Electronics/PCBA manufacturing knowledge, working with manufacturing suppliers, with good understanding of Drawings, Bill of Materials, Specifications, Engineering, Quality, NPI.
Candidates from Aviation (Aerospace) OEM/Big Electronics OEM, PCBA assembly are highly preferred.
Able to work independently with high responsibility and result driven, fast learner, supplier quality management, problem solving.
Good in English and Vietnamese ARE REQUIRED.
