Support the Regional Controller in managing factory financial activities, tax filings, and financial reporting. Develop and improve financial systems, procedures, and policies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Description
* Ensure accurate and timely accounting records and reporting in compliance with VAS, local regulations, and corporate policies.
* Lead month-end closing and financial analysis, including variance, margin, productivity, and performance analysis.
* Support semi-annual corporate hard close, financial testing, and group reporting requirements.
* Manage and control AP, AR, company assets, and inventory in line with company requirements.
* Oversee all tax compliance and statutory filings, including CIT, VAT, and other tax obligations.
* Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and customs regulations; stay updated on regulatory changes.
* Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate aud
it support.
* Analyze financial operations to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and efficiency gains.
* Lead process and continuous improvement initiatives across Finance & Accounting.
* Develop and coach the Finance & Accounting team, partner with other departments on effective resource management, and support ad-hoc projects as required.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related fields;
* Vietnamese Chief Accountant Certificate mandatory; CPA preferred.
* 8-10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a management role.
* Strong technical knowledge of VAS, CIT, VAT, PIT, Labour Law, customs, and other statutory compliance requirements.
* Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel, with strong financial analysis and modelling capabilities.
* Proven leadership, team management, process improvement, and hands-on execution skills in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluent English with strong communication and presentation skills;
* High integrity, accountability, and ability to work effectively with management, corporate teams, auditors, and authorities.
