MOLEX, a brand under KOCH Industries with its headquarters in Lisle, Illinois (USA), is one of the world's leading interconnector manufacturers.
Since 2007, Molex Vietnam has operated its first factory in Thang Long I IP. We are now expanding with a new high tech facility in Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m2. This site will manufacture advanced products including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.
Role Overview
Lead and support in‐process quality for fiber‐optic cables, ensuring production meets quality, productivity, and delivery targets while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and enforce in‐process quality standards and work instructions for optical products.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and in‐process evaluations; analyze defects and issue reports.
• Train and guide team members on product specs, standards, equipment setup, and operations.
• Monitor defect rate, scrap, material usage, and inspection cost; coordinate improvement actions across departments.
• Participate in quality meetings, defect analysis, customer complaint handling, sorting activities, and PFMEA.
• Support trial runs, transfers, new product development, and supplier/vendor assessments.
• Lead and contribute to quality improvement projects.
• Manage team performance and promote company culture as a PBM role model.
• Ensure compliance with 7S, Kaizen, EHS, EICC/Social Responsibility, and company policies.
• Support Molex TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S systems.
