Reporting and Data Analysis
Fulfill Report Requests using the existing database (Millennium)
Uncover data anomalies for conversion preparation
Automate data cleanup where possible
Create self-run reports for all IA members to offload reporting and assist the team members into being more self-reliant
Run all high-level management reports
Work with DTS when necessary to update the current database structure when needed
Be able to discuss any issues on a report requested
Able to resolve and/or offer solutions to data requests when fulfillment has issues.
The Report Writer/Business Analyst is responsible for the fulfillment of report requests for data from any of the other Institutional Advancement groups or other divisions outside of Institutional Advancement in order to do their area's functional work
Providing end user support on the current Millennium database (or future Slate CRM)
Investigating and resolving data issues and application for the current database as well as assist with the transactional and data-related issues of enterprise-level fundraising software
Import and export feeds.
In addition, the Report Writer/Business Analyst works to uncover all data anomalies in preparation for the conversion to the new CRM product; as well as in maintaining sound data practice.
With the conversion, the Report Writer/Business Analyst will assist in the transfer of existing data to the new product's layout
Work with the CRM Implementation Analyst to identify data and workflow issues and propose solutions
Assist in the capture of business requirements from other areas and assure that they are adequately and accurately addressed during implementation.
The Report Writer/Business Analyst will need to identify and communicate project/conversion risks and concerns.
