1. Objective of position
(the reason why the position exists, with permanent objectives, within what limits)
SD Executive (Mechanical Project Engineer) has main responsibility to perform studying,
managing & monitoring, etc. of key projects and/or other activities of the Plant in order to sustain
& develop the operation of plant to meet the company business strategy.
- Assist his/her Group leader to complete Group's KPI in success.
2. Major Responsibilities

Conduct study for improving Plant facility in
term of HSE, operation, capacity to meet the 15 Approved report & schedule
the company business strategy.
Produce conceptual design, detailed design,
related drawings & technical specification for 30 Approved report & schedule
new assigned projects.
Execute & complete assigned projects in 35 Approved hand - over
compliance with HSE, quality, time & cost. acceptance.
Manage, control & monitor contractor & its Approved report & schedule.
sub-contractor executing the awarded project
in term of compliance with HSE, quality.
Other duties as assigned 20 Approved report & schedule.
Yêu cầu
Education:
Bachelor 's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge/skill:
• Basic knowledge of Petrochemical plant or other equivalent process.
• Understanding design principals of equipment in chemical plant/ Petrochemical plant.
• Can read, produce, modify the mechanical design drawing such as piping Isometric, Piping and equipment Layout, General arrangement Layout. Assembly and detail drawing for machine and equipment.
• Can select and issue mechanical equipment specification based on process requirement.
• Can check & clarify on submitted detail specification & drawings of suppliers.
• Understand provided Work instruction manual/ procedure and technical document from Suppliers.
• Have knowledge about Mechanical inspection method & tool for piping, rotating & static equipment.
Able to work as site supervisor/ inspector:
• Supervise the fabrication, erection, installation, alignment, examination & testing for structural, piping, mechanical equipment in compliance with approved documents. Report the progress status and concern to group leader or PJ manager. Able to work in Plant and remoted site for inspection, SAT, FAT.
• Trouble shooting and Problem solving.
• Ensure safety policies and standard are strictly adhered to. Target zero accident of contractor.
• Manage work schedules performance, and quality to get project's target.
• Provide leadership to on-site staff, or sub-contractors, and or other parties.
Other:
• Time management.
• Project management.
• Coordinate with vendors/ contractors and ACVN's internal customers.
• Cost and schedule estimation for equipment and mechanical work.
• ITB issuance, bidding clarification and technical evaluation.
• Computer skills: MS office, AutoCAD, Mechanical design software, MS Power Point...
Language skill:
• English fluently is required.
• Able to communicate and write the technical report.
Work Experience:
• Advantage with minimum 5 years of experience in the design, installation, inspection, or maintenance of piping, tank, vessel, mechanical and rotary equipment, structure within Petrochemical, Chemical or heavy industries.
• Experience in PVC process is preferred.
