Competitive Pricing and Product Research: Analyze competitor products and pricing to ensure your merchandise is competitively priced.
Seasonal Merchandise Planning:
Research seasonal trends and curate the right mix of products for each season.
Approve the assortment and product mixes for seasonal launches.
Budget-Conscious Implementation: Implement merchandising strategies within established budgets.
Product Knowledge and Performance Tracking:
Maintain in-depth product knowledge, including pricing and inventory levels.
Track merchandising performance, monitoring sales, profit, and return on investment.
Sales Analysis and Reporting: Regularly analyze and report on sales performance.
Collaboration and Networking:
Collaborate with fashion designers, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate contracts and meet deadlines.
Work closely with the marketing department to align visual displays with advertising campaigns.
Store-Level Support:
Meet with Sales Managers to discuss sales reports and gather customer feedback.
Ensure that all stores have sufficient supplies and inventory for effective visual displays.
