As our business expands, we are seeking a skilled Merchandiser-Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations by collaborating closely with suppliers, our European headquarters, freight forwarders, and relevant stakeholders.
Job Description:
• Follow up and coordinate with suppliers, European team regarding shipments, new orders, order confirmations, and production planning, address any arising problems before, during, and after shipment.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers, and the European team to schedule shipments, manage shipping documentation, and arrange related shipments as required.
• Provide production schedule reports to our European team and manager as needed, and promptly report and address any emerging issues to the relevant stakeholders to ensure shipments proceed according to plan.
• Coordinate with the QA-QC team and the UK team, suppliers to resolve quality and delivery issues.
• Work with the UK team, the QA-QC team, and suppliers to negotiate recharge cases on a case-by-case basis and follow up on offsetting recharge debts with suppliers.
• Submit payment requests and follow up with suppliers and the Finance team to schedule and resolve any related issues that may arise.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and others task as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising,
purchasing, operations, or a related field within the furniture industry.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must.
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under high pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
