Mobile Application QA Engineer

Perifit is a femtech startup from Paris, France, created by two engineers in 2017, and now a fast-growing team of 30 employees in 6 countries.

Our goal is to assist women worldwide with the most challenging moments in their lives - moments that are heavily under-addressed - and do benefit from fun and effective self-care solutions.

Our first product, the Perifit (a connected probe and its mobile games), has become the #1 connected solution for pelvic floor rehabilitation. As of now, it has helped a whooping 250.000 women cure themselves and is the best-ranked app in its category.

To support our growth, we are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong analytical, critical thinking ability to help us ensure the utmost software quality.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Test new features, games and report issues
• Develop and execute test strategy for the mobile application to meet quality standards and procedures
• Execute regression test case prior to a release and determine product quality and release readiness
• Write test cases and update existing ones using Test Management Tools e.g., Zephyr Scale
• Record test progress and results in Test Management Tool
• Write automated tests using Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Analyze user-reported bugs and complaints to diagnose the root cause and report to the developers
• Review the application UI and functionalities for consistency from time to time
• Research new tools, technologies, and testing practices to keep up the best practices

You've already played Quality Assurance Engineer, Game Tester, or a similar role for at least 3 years in mobile application/game testing

• You have at least 2 years of testing 2D and/or 3D mobile games
• You are proficient in testing hybrid mobile applications
• You put attention to detail when performing manual test
• You have a good grasp of at least one programming language
• You have a good understanding of agile methodologies and are able to work with task collaboration tools such as Jira
• You are able to communicate fluently in English - French is a plus
• You love to keep yourself updated with the latest tools and technologies in Software Quality Assurance
• You are a team player and have a positive attitude
• You are always willing to accept new challenges and learn new technologies
