Job Description
Advisory task:
Conduct legal research as requested by lawyers handling advisory matters (e.g., drafting legal memoranda, email advice), including reviewing legislative documents and liaising with authorities for practical opinions.
Assist in preparing sections of legal memoranda, email advice, due diligence reports, and contracts, depending on assignment and capability.
Coordinate due diligence in transactional cases by collecting, organizing, assigning, and archiving documents from clients and stakeholders.
Proofread and review deliverables (e.g., memoranda, due diligence reports, contracts) for accuracy and consistency.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervising lawyers.
Licensing task:
Draft, prepare, and submit statutory applications for licenses, permits, certificates, or approvals on behalf of clients (e.g., investment registration certificates, enterprise registration certificates, trading licenses, retail outlet licenses, trademark registration certificates, industrial design patents).
Liaise with licensing authorities to clarify requirements and instructions before, during, and after submission.
Obtain official deliverables issued by licensing authorities upon completion of procedures.
Manage disbursements related to licensing tasks (e.g., travel expenses, submission fees).
Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervising lawyers.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
Strong willingness to learn and ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication skills.
Fresh graduates are welcome; 1-2 years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm is preferred.
Proficiency in English across all four skills (intermediate or above).
Collaborative team player.
