Key Responsibilities
As a software engineer, you will work on multiple projects critical to LizAI's needs, with our fast-paced business growing and evolving.
Our engineers need to be versatile and enthusiastic about tackling new problems across the full-stack as we continue pushing technology forward.
You will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software
solutions.
Design, code, and test new features, making marked contributions to the application and process, emphasizing performant, decoupled,
testable, and maintainable code.
Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in,
accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network,
or service operations and quality.
Lead and mentor new hires or junior engineers
Report the data to the team.
Comply with the data storage policies of LizAI.
Possible international business travels.

Preferred qualifications:
Thorough understanding of design patterns, microservices architecture, OOP, and functional programming, asynchronous and event-
driven development.
Strong experience developing RESTful APIs or Graph APIs with Node.js/Express, GraphQL, etc.
Experience developing on top of large data sets and complex data structures.
Experience leveraging AWS.
Prior experience working in the healthcare industry is an added advantage.
Exceptional problem-solving and ability to work independently.
Ability to work with diverse, global teams in many locations and time zones.
Demonstrate excellent teamwork and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting timelines and adapting to changing
priorities
Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 2 years of backend (Node.js) and/or full-stack experience building highly scalable and distributed systems.
Experience in at least one non-JS programming language (.NET or Java).
Solid experience developing with JavaScript (or TypeScript or any other flavor of the language) on the back end.
Solid experience working with both NodeJS Developer (Javascript/ Databae) databases.
Understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle and being exposed to Scrum projects.
Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like Git.
Good command of English communication.

Monthly (base) salary is negotiable and up to $ 2,500.

Your compensation and promotion will be reviewed and adjusted at any time as you grow and develop within the role.
