What you will do:
Media prospecting: You'll be in charge of prospecting to find contacts of media outlets with a high potential of featuring our campaigns
Pitch stories to the right journalists: You'll write personalized, relevant pitches to the media and maintain effective conversations with them to get linked press mentions.
Develop online publisher databases: You'll constantly find and add to our media databank to build an effective media list.
Establish and foster relationships with journalists: You'll find contacts of relevant, high-impact journalists/ media outlets, get to know them, then build and maintain relationships with them.
Repitching campaigns when the right time comes: You'll stay on top of the news to spot the opportunities to repitch old campaigns
Other responsibilities:
When required, communicate with clients to discuss outreach approaches and outcomes.
We're looking for someone who:
At least 6 months of experience working in a similar position.
Demonstrable experience in SEO link building is preferred.
Mastery of communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills; able to effectively communicate via emails.
Strong Internet search skills, especially Google search skills
Comfortable navigating social media.
Comprehensive experience with Office and ideally knowledge of Google Tool Suite, especially Gmail.
Excellent attention to detail.
English reading and writing skills at a professional level.
A positive, proactive, collaborative mindset and drive to push the team to the next level.
