Job Description
- Design, develop, and execute performance test scenarios and scripts for Retail Banking applications.
- Perform Load Testing, Stress Testing, Endurance Testing, Spike Testing, and Volume Testing.
- Analyze system performance bottlenecks and provide optimization recommendations.
- Monitor application, API, database, and infrastructure performance metrics.
- Collaborate directly with
Developers, System Engineers, DevOps,
Business Analysts, and Bank stakeholders to troubleshoot performance-related issues.
- Prepare performance testing reports, analysis documents, and improvement recommendations.
- Participate in system architecture and technical discussions from a performance testing perspective.
- Support SIT/UAT/Production performance validation activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with banking security and operational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Performance Testing.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as: JMeter/LoadRunner/Gatling/NeoLoad
- Strong knowledge of: API/Web performance testing/Database performance analysis /System scalability and concurrency testing/Microservices and distributed systems
- Experience working in Banking/Financial projects is highly preferred.
- Familiar with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Kibana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.
- Understanding of CI/CD and automated testing integration is a plus.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in an onsite banking environment with high security and compliance requirements.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.

- Experience in Retail Banking domains:
- Internet Banking
- Mobile Banking
- Payment Gateway
- Core Banking
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
