PHP Tech Lead, Senior PHP Engineer

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
• Assist in making technical decisions and ensure that the team follows best practices and coding standards
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
• Guide in debugging and solving complex technical problems encountered by the team
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to define the overall system architecture
• Break down technical tasks and distribute them among team members
• Identify opportunities and lead efforts to improve development processes
• Enforce coding standards and best practices
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Document architectural decisions, code structure, and any other relevant technical information
• Lead by example and inspire the team to excel.

• At least 7 years' experience working in software development, experience in leading an Engineer team working on complex applications for enterprise products
• Strong experience with PHP (Symfony experience is a bonus), we expect you to coach others
• Experience with AWS (Docker, Databases, Storage, Streams, etc.)
• Experience with building services and Restful APIs
• Security best practices champion
• A track record in delivering outcomes, not just as an individual, but rallying your team evangelizing high technical standards in the teams
• Develop and document technical standards for the company platform, ensure development standards are met
• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical information for a diverse audience
• Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment
• Strong leadership & coaching skills (both in technical & human relations).
