Student Support:
Work with individual students or groups as directed by the teacher in both core PE and PE exam subjects (IG and IB).
Help deliver teaching and learning initiatives as part of the PE team.
Lesson Preparation:
Assist in setting up and clearing away equipment before and after lessons.
Prepare for and clear away equipment for competitive home games and training sessions.
Student Supervision:
Escort Primary students to and from PE lessons.
Supervise students during lunch and playtimes as per the duty rota.
Co-Curricular Activities:
Deliver sporting co-curricular activities each week.
General Support Tasks:
Ensure PE equipment is stored safely and maintained, including inflating balls and carrying out regular stock inventories.
Collaborate with the Facilities team to maintain the PE facilities.
School Ethos:
Promote the school's ethos by demonstrating a positive, tolerant, and caring attitude towards all students.
Community Engagement:
Help showcase the PE department within the BIS community and the local area.
Standards and Expectations:
Enforce PE standards and expectations consistently.
