We are seeking a skilled Planning and Revenue Management Manager for our Airline Cargo Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning, optimizing revenue management, and enhancing business processes within the cargo operations. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical and business analyst skills, capable of interpreting
data, managing forecasts, and implementing strategies that maximize profitability
Key Responsibilities:
● Strategic Planning: Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to optimize cargo capacity, enhance market presence, and align with overall business objectives.
● Revenue Management: Analyse market trends, pricing strategies, and demand forecasts to optimize revenue and cargo load factors. Develop pricing models and strategies that maximize yield and profitability.
● Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to forecast demand, identify opportunities for improvement, and make strategic recommendations to enhance cargo performance.
● Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cargo operations, revenue, and market trends to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
● Process Optimisation: Continuously assess and refine processes related to capacity planning, pricing, and route optimization to enhance efficiency and responsiveness to market changes.
● Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, finance, and other internal teams to align revenue management strategies with overall business goals
● Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on cargo performance, revenue trends, and strategic initiatives for senior management and stakeholders.
● Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and market dynamics to proactively adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Job Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Revenue Management, Business Analysis) is a plus.
● Experience: 5+ years of experience in planning, revenue management, or business analysis, preferably within the airline or logistics sector. Experience in cargo operations is highly desirable.
● Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools is a plus.
● Revenue Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in revenue management, pricing strategies, and capacity optimization within a cargo or logistics environment.
● Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data and strategies clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
● Problem -Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and
make data-driven decisions.
● Project Management: Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on delivering results on time and within scope.
● Business Acumen: Solid understanding of the cargo and airline industry, including market dynamics, competitive landscape, and operational processes
Preferred Qualifications:
● Certifications: Relevant certifications in revenue management, cargo planning, or business analysis are highly valued.
● Technical Skills: Familiarity with cargo management systems, forecasting software, or basic data visualization tools is advantageous.
● Industry Knowledge: Prior experience within the airline cargo division or logistics industry, with a deep understanding of revenue/pricing/policy management and market segmentation
● Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Revenue Management, Business Analysis) is a plus.
