- Oversee and coordinate production schedules to ensure timely project completion.
- Develop and implement production schedules, considering inventory levels, capacity constraints, and order priorities.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or changes in demand.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary materials while minimizing excess stock.
- Ensure accurate documentation of planning processes, including production schedules, inventory reports, and forecasting data.
- Ensure that production processes meet quality standards and deliver on time.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of planning efforts.
- Lead and mentor a team of planners and schedulers, providing guidance and support.
- Train, mentor, and develop planning staff, promoting best practices in production planning and scheduling.
- Supervise and coordinate daily planning activities, ensuring alignment with production goals and customer requirements.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze production data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss planning updates, challenges, and strategies for optimization.
- Implement and maintain planning tools and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy in planning operations.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in production planning and inventory management.
- Can work 3 shifts and overtime.
- Other task assigned by Line Manager.
