Plastic Extrusion Engineer

We're having significant manufacturing base in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone, Dong Nai named TRUAIRE Vietnam.
We're looking for a Extrusion Process Engineer responsible to work closely with internal groups, and to coordinate the corresponding manufacturing partnership team(s) (Production, HR, Import/Export, Planning, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Technical Development). Ensures continued supply of Product / Finished Product as per market demand.
Extrusion Process Engineer is a Process Expert to responsible for technical process engineering in materials, extrusion processes, and tooling production issues in plastic extrusion environment. Besides that, Extrusion Process Engineer support engineering to Plastic Injection and assembly where required as a part of full product assembly.
This job will require oversea business travelling.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Support the production and engineering needs through the set-up and operation of the extrusion equipment and processes
• Ownership of extrusion machine parameters to ensure the process and product quality.
• Specify, select, and coordinate installation of automation and other auxiliary equipment.
• Train manufacturing personnel such as operators, technicians, and supervisors.
• Provide technical support for repair and maintenance of all extrusion equipment.
• Define pre and post extrusion processes to optimize efficiencies, yields and productivity
• Develop, troubleshoot and optimize extrusion processes.
• Drive DFM and technical reviews to ensure the design of tooling meet Customer requirement.
• Work with production to transfer the engineering point from product knowledge, work instruction, sample to Production.
• Coordinate with the Production Managers to align product and machine capacity and ensure project timelines are met.
• Assist in production problem solving.
