Platform Development Manager

1. Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software, or related field; or equivalent education and experience.
2. Relevant Knowledge / Expertise
- Demonstrated experience in developing or managing shared platforms, internal tools, or reusable components.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Backend or Full-stack development, system integration, or platform engineering.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, [protected info], or Go (depending on platform stack).
- Experience with microservices, API development, API Gateway, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or private cloud (e.g., RedHat OpenShift) is preferred.
- Understanding of system design, scalability, caching, messaging queues, and architectural best practices.
- Experience in optimizing development workflows, coding standards, and engineering productivity solutions.
3. Skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills (English reading/writing mandatory; speaking/listening preferred).
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Backend, Frontend, Mobile, DevOps, QA, and OPS teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Self-driven, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
4. Additional Preferred Experience
-Experience in financial services or enterprise platforms (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience managing engineering teams or technical initiatives.
