Pneumatic Mechanical Engineer

* Job Description:
Intermediate knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems including pumps, pneumatic, flow meters, air handling systems, etc
* Job Responsibilities:
• Design, analysis, and testing of vacuum hardware.
• Conceive, design, develop, and analyze pneumatic (hydraulic)/vacuum systems and develop methods to improve existing systems.
• Improve upon current pneumatic (hydraulic)/vacuum system designs by reducing cost and increasing robustness and reliability.
• Develop and validate new and modified pneumatic (hydraulic)/vacuum systems on current production machines, equipment under development, and any custom-built equipment that requires custom pneumatic (hydraulic)/vacuum controls.
• Make design trade-offs to ensure the lowest overall cost, highest reliability, and best-in-class performance.
• Work with manufacturers/vendors to source and evaluate purchased components and with manufacturing to produce or assemble manufactured components and assemblies.
• Provide specific relevant engineering support during the development and implementation of technical projects.
• Cooperate with other engineers of various disciplines toward solving complex engineering issues
• The role involves also a range of duties including preparing technical documentation and other documents, undertaking projects, and researching new product concepts.
