We are a premier, boutique Communications Agency specialising in Arts, Entertainment, Major Events, and Festivals. We deliver high-impact publicity and marketing campaigns for prominent creative launches, live events, and cultural experiences. We are expanding our remote international division and are seeking a top-tier specialist based in Vietnam to support our campaigns across western, English-speaking press markets.
About the Contract
This is a long-term independent contractor role operating as a dedicated, seamless extension of our agency. You will work across both PR and marketing to secure continuous, high-profile editorial coverage, features, and reviews across major arts, culture, entertainment, and festival publications.
Key Responsibilities
• Agency-Level Media Pitching: Source, pitch, and secure continuous, high-impact coverage in major international lifestyle, culture, entertainment, and festival media outlets.
• Campaign Copywriting: Draft compelling, culturally nuanced, and punchy press releases, media alerts, and media kits tailored specifically to busy entertainment editors.
• Database & Outreach Management: Platform Proficiency: Demonstrate experience using modern media tracking databases and PR software to build, segment, and manage highly targeted media lists for different events and festivals.
• Integrated Marketing Support: Coordinate
digital marketing initiatives, social media strategies, paid and owned media campaigns, and asset distribution that seamlessly align with active festival and event publicity timelines.
• Time Zone Alignment: Media Responsiveness: Maintain daily availability during early morning Vietnam hours (aligning with active Australian/Western morning media windows) to ensure real-time responsiveness to journalists and our agency team.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: 4+ years of professional PR & marketing experience, ideally within a fast-paced agency environment.
• Industry Focus: Proven experience working on Major Events, Festivals, Live Entertainment, or the Arts is highly preferred.
• Flawless English: Exceptional written and spoken English fluency. Your writing must be sharp, engaging, and free of rigid or overly formal phrasing.
• Fast-Paced Workflow: Proven ability to juggle multiple campaign timelines, event deadlines, and media requests simultaneously.
• Results-Oriented: A portfolio demonstrating top-tier placements that you personally pitched and secured in English-speaking markets.
Engagement & Pay
• Status: Independent Contractor / Service Provider
• Hours: Fixed monthly service capacity (Approx. 40 hours per week, flexible schedule aligned with target media windows).
• Compensation: Competitive flat-rate monthly retainer of $1,800 - $2,000+ AUD / month (based on experience).
• Payment Method: Processed bi-monthly via B2B service invoices using Wise.
