This role supports the full cycle of technical and commercial proposal development for solar rooftop projects in the B2B segment. It focuses primarily on presales and proposal development, with partial involvement in
business development.
Technical Proposal:
Conduct or support site surveys to collect input data for preliminary system design
Develop preliminary technical proposals (system layout, capacity sizing, equipment selection) in collaboration with the Technical Design team.
Prepare technical specifications and supporting documents for proposal submissions.
Commercial Proposal & Client Engagement
Prepare commercial proposals and quotations tailored to client needs.
Present solutions and address technical and commercial queries during the proposal process.
Support negotiations with clients and partners to move opportunities toward contract signing.
Proactively identify and develop new business leads when possible.
Coordination & Pipeline Management
Coordinate with Technical Design, Construction, and related teams to ensure proposal accuracy and alignment.
Track proposal progress, follow up on submissions, and report pipeline status to management.
Stay updated on market trends, policies, and the competitive landscape in the solar industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in
electrical engineering (Preferred) or related fields.
1-3 years of experience in technical B2B sales, presales, proposal engineering, or similar roles; experience in renewable energy, especially solar, or MEP industries is preferred.
Strong logical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel for technical review and cost calculation.
Core Skills: Excellent with numbers and Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs accurately.
Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
