Presales / ERP Solution Engineer

We are looking for a strong candidate to work within the team to support the sales team. The successful candidate will be the primary owner of all Presales / Solution Engineer work, with support from the ERP application consultant team, resources/teams across the business. This role is critical to the business growth and success of Sales team. It requires an experienced candidate who is self-sufficient, motivated by challenging highpressure engagements and thrives on complex requirements.
Job Description:
Work closely with the Sales team to win client engagements.
Demonstrate, present & effectively articulate ERP solutions to clients and partners remotely and on-site.
Evaluate business and technical client requirements into working solutions using Epicor technologies or others.
Collaborate with local partners to support a joint go-to-market strategy and project implementations.
Ensure smooth hand-over from pre-sales to project delivery teams.
Attend and represent at market and offline, online marketing events.
Provide market feedback to internal product teams.
Capture client requirements, market intelligence and partner feedback.
Job Requirements:
University level BA/BS (or MA/MS) or equivalent.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a ERP Application Solution Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant or similar.
Prior experience at a relevant industry software vendor and/or software implementation partner (SAP, Oracle, Intel, Microsoft,etc)
Strong knowledge of one or more of the following related module: Distribution, Manufacturing, Accounting and Finance
Ability to present and articulate technology solutions to C-Level audiences and key business owners at clients and partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Good system analytical skills to help transform user requirements into system and component level functional requirements.

Ability to work at a high level of urgency and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities.
Willingness to travel domestic and international on occasion.
