The job holder is responsible for strategically managing and growing an assigned portfolio of Private Banking clients within the Hub Private Banking model to drive sustainable growth in Assets Under Management (AUM), client retention, relationship deepening and overall customer profitability.
Operating from the Private Banking Hub, the role serves as the primary relationship owner for Private clients, delivering holistic financial and wealth management solutions tailored to customers' personal and family needs. The role is accountable for enhancing customer lifetime value, strengthening household relationships, and providing an exceptional Private Banking experience while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
1. Manage and Deepen Private Client Relationships
Strategically manage and grow an assigned portfolio of Private Banking clients to achieve sustainable growth, retention, and relationship deepening.
Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients and key family members through regular engagement and proactive relationship management.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of customers' wealth objectives, financial circumstances, investment preferences and life-stage requirements.
Develop and execute customer relationship strategies to maximize client engagement, wallet share and long-term relationship value.
Identify opportunities to expand relationships across household members and family networks to strengthen multi-generational banking relationships.
Maintain strong portfolio quality through disciplined customer coverage and ongoing relationship reviews.
2. Deliver Holistic Wealth Solutions and Premium Client Experience
Provide holistic financial and wealth solutions that integrate investment, banking, lending, protection and liquidity needs.
Collaborate with Wealth Advisors and product specialists to deliver tailored and relevant solutions for clients and their families.
Proactively identify emerging customer needs and recommend suitable financial strategies aligned with customers' objectives.
Conduct portfolio reviews and market discussions with clients to support informed financial decision-making.
Deliver Private Banking service standards and ensure an exceptional customer experience across all interactions.
Actively resolve client issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to provide timely and effective solutions.
3. Drive Portfolio Growth, Business Performance and Risk Management
Develop and execute portfolio growth plans to achieve assigned AUM, revenue, wallet-share and client retention targets.
Generate qualified referrals and identify opportunities for relationship expansion within existing customer networks.
Monitor portfolio performance and proactively implement actions to improve customer outcomes and business results.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, suitability requirements, KYC, AML and internal policies.
Manage operational and relationship risks associated with the assigned portfolio.
Contribute to team capability development through knowledge sharing, mentoring and participation in business initiatives.
Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
'Bachelor's Degree or above in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Investment, Wealth Management or related disciplines.
CFA, CFP, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Banking, Wealth Management, Investment, Insurance, Securities or Priority Banking.
Minimum 3 years of experience managing affluent, HNW or Private Banking customer portfolios.
Strong experience in relationship management, portfolio growth and wealth advisory.
Sound understanding of investment products, lending solutions, deposits, insurance and financial planning.
Demonstrated success in managing high-value customer relationships and portfolio performance.
