Process Engineer

Broadly describe the main purpose of the job in a few sentences.
To coordinate with the superior for design and optimize the layout of our production floor or facility, with the objective of creating a production floor layout that enhances operational efficiency, minimizes waste, and supports the achievement of organizational goals. Responsible to make the most efficient use of available space, design a workflow that minimizes material handling and promotes a smooth flow, determine the optimal placement of equipment, and prioritize safety and ergonomics in the layout design.
1. Analyze and Design (60%)
• Conduct a thorough analysis of the production floor or facility to assess capacity, inventory, workflow and space utilization with opportunities for improvement.
• Design and develop layouts using CAD.
• Well understanding of workflow and ensuring a smooth and logical flow of materials, products, information throughout the production process.
• Determine the optimal placement of machinery, equipment, and tools, taking into account factors such as ergonomics, accessibility, maintenance requirements, and safety regulations.
• Ensuring that layouts meet safety and compliance regulations.
2. Maintain and Standardize (30%)
• Create project plan and conduct regular review to keep track with the project timeline
• Maintain and update overall factory layouts regularly to ensure the accuracy
• Standardize and consolidate the list of workstation related equipment, machinery and tools
• Prepare procurement list and follow up the layout execution with project related team.
3. Documentation and collaboration (10%)
• Develop, maintain and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent and efficient process execution
