1. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Support daily procurement operations by sourcing materials, processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective
purchasing to support business operations.
2. JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Process purchase requests and prepare purchase orders in accordance with company procedures
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery
• Monitor purchase order status and follow up on deliveries to avoid supply disruptions
• Maintain procurement records, supplier database, and purchasing documents accurately
• Assist in supplier performance evaluation and cost optimization initiatives
• Prepare procurement reports and perform data analysis
• Ad hoc tasks as assigned by Line Manager
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Purchasing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing; experience in chemical trading or industrial products is an advantage.
• Fluent in English (mandatory).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and effective deadline management.
• Proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
