Procurement Buyer

Material planning and procurement of the assigned assortment (including follow-up of timely and sufficient supply, with supplier correspondence)
Developing strong strategic supplier relationships and promoting strategic supplier development
Ensuring commodity prices used in purchase orders are correct supporting cost reduction programs and in compliance with Purchasing policy & procedures
Analyzing the inventory of each commodity and establishing action plans to prevent and reduce excess and aging inventory
Preparing and submitting weekly and/or monthly key performance index report
Performing other tasks/functions assigned by superiors
