Job Summary: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing procurement activities related to store expansion, including contractor sourcing, vendor coordination, and project-based procurement. This role plays a key role in supporting store opening and renovation projects, ensuring cost efficiency, timely execution, and effective vendor management. The Specialist is expected to independently lead vendor negotiations for project-related procurement, with minimal reliance on the Procurement Lead. Operate with a high level of ownership and independence in managing procurement activities, while aligning with the Procurement Lead on overall direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Expansion Procurement (End-to-End Ownership)
• Lead procurement activities for new store openings and renovation projects
• Source, evaluate, and manage contractors, suppliers, and service vendors (fit-out, fixtures, MEP, etc.)
• Prepare and manage RFQs based on drawings, scope of work, and project requirements
• Review and analyze quotations, including cost breakdowns and commercial structures
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with vendors (cost, timeline, payment terms, contract terms)
• Ensure procurement timelines align with project schedules and store opening targets
• Coordinate closely with Expansion, Store Ops, and VM/Marketing teams to ensure execution readiness
• Support execution of procurement deliverables, including material readiness and vendor mobilization
• Monitor procurement progress and proactively resolve issues impacting project timelines
Vendor Management, Compliance & Operational Excellence
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard contractors and project-related vendors
• Take ownership of vendor relationships, including handling issues, escalations, and performance concerns
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of procurement documentation (PO, contracts, vendor records)
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company SOP and internal controls
• Maintain visibility and tracking of all procurement activities, particularly project-related items
• Support cross-functional procurement needs when required
• Assist Procurement Lead in complex sourcing or negotiation cases when necessary
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or related roles
• Experience in retail expansion, FMCG, F&B, fit-out projects, contractor/vendor management is strongly preferred
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Able to handle complex sourcing and contractor coordination independently
• Good understanding of project-based procurement (non-technical level)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good working proficiency (written and verbal)
• Comfortable working with ERP systems, Excel, and procurement documentation
• Strong ownership and accountability
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Comfortable handling ambiguity and fast-paced project environments
• Resilient and able to manage pressure
• Willing to travel for site visits and vendor coordination when required
