Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Procurement Supervisor (Manufacturing, $1550, ID 22814):
Oversee and control all plant-level procurement activities, ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, development, and optimization to ensure product quality, cost competitiveness, on-time delivery, and supply continuity.
Lead contract negotiations and price discussions to secure optimal commercial terms and conditions.
Supervise daily
purchasing operations and approve purchase orders to ensure alignment with budgets and operational requirements.
Collaborate closely with Planning, Production, Finance, and other relevant departments to resolve procurement issues and meet business needs in a timely manner.
Lead, guide, and develop a team of three procurement staff, assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance against key KPIs, including cost savings, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), and PPM (Parts Per Million).
Analyze market trends and cost structures to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective supply chain risk management strategies.
Prepare periodic procurement reports and analyze purchasing data to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
Working schedule: 1-2 Saturdays per month.
Two extended breaks per year, each lasting one week.
