Procurement Supervisor

1. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales target
- Define purchase requisitions needs and relevant criteria.
- Market research and identify potential vendors.
- Issue requests/RFP for quotations/bid following SCV Procurement Procedure.
- Analyze, evaluate and select vendors based on agreed criteria/ tender evaluation. Conduct due diligence and reference checks to verify the credibility and reliability of vendors.
- Negotiate and review contracts based on template and guideline to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of SCV group.
- Track Purchase Contract/ PO signing process and releasing PO on S4 System.
- Follow up and expedite issues/complaints if any.
- Monitor and evaluate performance of vendors.
- Coordinates with requester to check and take-over Goods/Service/Project.
- Solve potential problems after purchase such as change/return...
- Supervise and provide guidance to requesters on Procurement Masters.
- Maintains and coordinator with other departments to record purchase history/POSM Delivery Tracking.
Ensuring profits
- Continuously improve budget efficiency by activity post reviews
- Work with Line Manager to identify opportunities to optimize cost. Give recommendations that are reasonable, taking into account employee needs and business situation.
- Deal with suppliers in purchasing to utilize cost effectively. Study to understand cost calculation methods to effectively negotiate quotations.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality and cost object ives are met.
- Identify and deliver efficiency saving.
New Business Development
- Analyze industries, supply markets and sourcing best practices.
- Research and identify new potential suppliers to reserve for expansion of new business
- Develop new qualified sources of supply
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with all vendors to administer best pricing strategies.
Quality and Productivity
- Ensure internal Procurement Process complied with Company Policies.
- Recommends strategies to improve quality for all products/services.
- Performs timely review of documentation for compliance with regulation.
