IMITI is looking for a Product Development Staff to turn international customer requirements into well-executed wooden furniture samples and production-ready products.
If you enjoy working with global customers, exploring furniture products, and seeing ideas become tangible samples, this is an opportunity to grow your career in furniture product development.
IMITI is a Vietnam-based wooden furniture manufacturer producing bedroom furniture, living room furniture, and custom OEM/ODM furniture for international B2B customers. Here, you will deepen your product knowledge, collaborate across teams, and build customer trust through each project.
What You Will Do
Review customer briefs, ideas, photos, reference samples, and target requirements for OEM/ODM wooden furniture projects.
Coordinate sample development from initial request through prototype approval, including timelines, technical clarification, materials, construction, finishes, and packaging requirements.
Work closely with engineering, quality control, and sample team to resolve development issues and improve manufacturability, quality, cost, and lead time.
Track sample development progress, maintain accurate specifications and revision records, and communicate project updates and risks promptly.
Coordinate sample evaluations, corrective actions, sample shipments, and follow-up on customer feedback.
Support overseas customers during factory visits and product/sample reviews.
For Team Leader candidates: prioritize the development pipeline, allocate work, coach team members, coordinate cross-functional decisions, and drive timely delivery and continuous process improvement.
What makes this role exciting is the chance to follow a furniture concept from customer brief to physical sample and production handover, while gaining practical exposure to international furniture development.
