Production Engineer is fully responsible for:

Ensuring all machineries and equipment in processes are in good condition, performing at highest efficiency and zero production impact due to equipment breakdown or process problems.
New Products are met with the customer's expectation and committed with the timeline. Ensure that the factory has enough capability to launch the product.
Coaching and leading the firefighting team to ensure the factory is safest on fire relevant to.

Machinery & equipment management:

Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues on the production line in a timely manner (tool down issues, machine issues, etc...)
Evaluate, install, qualify new equipment / tooling and do training to the relevant team.
Develop PM programs and procedure for operator to minimize the production loss due to equipment unreliability.
Build the calibration, MSA for machine anually.
Create the work instructions, OCAP, OPL, etc. to help the operator to be easily to run the machine.

New product development:

Working directly with sales team to transfer the new product into the plant from the beginning to the end.
Running the evaluation lot and sample approval with the customer.
Design, develop and implement all molds, product drawings according to customer needs.
Create and maintain BOM (Bill of Material) & advise the Supply Chain about the RM consuming & make sure the right cost is placed on the Oracle system together with Finance team.
Release the training section related to the team before launching the new product.

Firefighting management:

Coaching and leading the fire & fighting team to ensure the factory is safest on fire relevant to.

Process and loss improvement:

Identify and implement the process improvement: throughput, yield and product performance goals.
Coordinate with stakeholder to increase machine efficiency (UEE%), process capabilities.
Develop and maintain Process Control Plan to ensure the process always be stablized.
Conduct Process FMEA to identify any quality risks if needed.

Technical Disciplines / Degree in one of the following fields - Mechanical/Mechatronics, Electrical/ Electronic.
At least 2 years, Engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge and trouble-shooting experience on sewing/ cutting/ welding machine in Apparel machine is a plus, esspecially for sewing machine (brands: JUKI / BROTHERS / JACK) is A BIG PLUS.
Prior experience working in Multinational Corporations has added advantage.
Have background/ be worked on ISO9001 systems.
Process management skill (PDCA, DMAIC, KPI, etc.) - Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
Deeply understanding of machine mechanical design & controls is required.
Having knowledge in TPM, equipment management, spare part management.
Experienced with CAD or 3D drawing (Auto CAD 2D/3D).
Awareness on 5S in manufacturing floor.
Having knowledge about fire fighting control in the factory is an advantage.
Be able to work independent, proactive and transparent.
Basic understanding and communication in English.
