1. JOB PURPOSE
- Manage daily production operations, technical performance, and workforce for Blow Molding (BM), Injection Molding (IM), and Decoration processes. Ensure operational efficiency, product quality, safety standards (HSE, 5S), and system compliance (ISO 9001, BRCGS/BRC IOP).
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production & Operational Management:
- Direct and supervise daily production activities, machine trials, and mass production in accordance with PPIC schedules and customer specifications.
- Monitor and evaluate shift production reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall operational efficiency.
- Analyze production issues, customer complaints, and implement effective Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Continuously optimize production processes, machine utilities, and technology to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Quality, Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce strictly 5S, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations, and product safety/legality standards.
- Maintain and control production documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 and BRCGS/BRC IOP standards.
People Management & Leadership:
- Lead, develop, and train production staff and technicians to enhance technical competence and skills.
- Conduct fair performance evaluations and maintain a positive, high-performing working environment.
Cross-functional & External Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Work with machinery suppliers and customers regarding technical requirements and equipment issues.
3. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Engineering, Polymer/Plastics Technology, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position (Production Manager / Asst. Manager) within manufacturing. Experience in Injection Molding (IM) or Blow Molding (BM) is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of machine utilities, injection/blow molding machinery, process troubleshooting, and ISO 9001 / BRCGS standards.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Good command of English (written & spoken).
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
