Mô tả Công việc
Create weekly production schedule for assigned production lines based on the master schedule and production capacity that maximizes production efficiency while minimizing raw material, work-in-process (WIP) inventory, changeover costs, etc.
Distribute production schedules to the U.S. home office and local departments.
Maintains finite production schedules on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, investigating discrepancies where needed.
Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, quality control, production, and engineering.
Ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner to meet sale dates IAW with home office direction.
Participates in planning and establishing overall production objectives based on shipping schedule.
Leads weekly meetings to review planned schedule.
Coordinates with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and other key internal stakeholders to exchange / provide information and ideas to develop scheduling plans that maximize efficiency and productivity to meet on-time shipping requirements.
Communicate with Sourcing & Production Managers about any potential late and/or shortages that may risk on-time ship dates.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Experience
2+ years of experience in production planning role
ERP Experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Fluent in English
Knowledge of bills of material required.
Intermediate-Advanced Excel user
Strong analytical abilities
Excellent data entry skills and phone skills are necessary.
Knowledge of Word and PowerPoint are required.
Multi tasked individual that is assertive, fair minded, understanding, and sensible.
Able to work well under pressure.
Ability to work closely with a diverse group.
Ability to work within cross-functional teams across the organization.

Essential physical requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
