Production Planning Assistant Manager

Job Summary:
• Lead the MRP function & drive inventory optimization
• End to end planning & management of raw materials, packaging, labels and imported finished goods to ensure optimal material availability for production and order fulfilment
• Participating in Product & BOM management
• Confirm the production and supply plan for both Domestic and Export markets
• Aligning production capacity with demand, and ensuring timely fulfillment through effective production and outsourcing coordination
• Balancing customer service levels with operational efficiency and inventory health.
Production planning
• Lead monthly and weekly production planning, including coordination with outsource filling partners to meet volume and service requirements.
• Monitor and manage Master Production Schedule (MPS) data in SAP; investigate, report, and track system issues and drive timely resolution.
• Identify and flag special customer requirements that may impact planning and production schedules.
SAP master data and MRP & MPS-related issue
• Own and manage master data integrity related to MRP & MPS to ensure accurate planning and execution.
• Investigate, report, and track SAP MRP & MPS-related issues and work with IT or relevant teams for resolution
Planning & handling purchase order
• Plan and schedule raw materials, packaging materials, labels, and imported finished goods in alignment with production and demand plans.
• Schedule loading dates for export orders and delivery dates for packaging materials to ensure on-time fulfillment.
• Process purchase orders for relevant materials (excluding bulk oil, finished goods, and sub-labeled products).
Participate in Product & BOM management
• Control and execute product upgrades, switches, and obsolescence to support business transitions.
• Request creation and setup of BOMs (Bill of Materials) including status, effective dates, and revisions in SAP.
Supply plan
• Confirm and validate supply plans for Domestic and Export markets in alignment with demand forecasts and business targets.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Distribution teams to arrange timely stock transfers to the Northern region based on forecast and actual consumption.
• Ensure committed ETDs are met by coordinating with relevant teams (Logistics, Procurement, Production) to execute outbound shipments.
Others
• Drive and implement preventive and corrective actions for slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB).
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve supply-demand imbalances, including production capacity constraints and storage limitations.
• Maintain and continuously improve performance across supply chain KPIs.
