Production Planning (Material Management)

- Handle some tasks relating to yarn, greige management, wastage reports, and other analysis.
* Material Management
- Plan and forecast yarn requirements based on orders and production capacity.
- Manage yarn and greige inventory: maintain safety stock levels and control daily in-out-stock.
- Monitor slow-moving or excess materials and propose appropriate actions.
- Coordinate with knitting, dyeing, and QA teams to ensure quality and production timelines.
* Waste Analysis
- Collect and analyze knitting wastage data by machine, shift, and yarn type.
- Analyze dyeing and VAP wastage against standards, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.
- Prepare periodic reports on wastage rates for each production stage.
* Other Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze production capacity to support master production planning.
- Compare actual material consumption with BOM/standards and propose optimization measures.
- Monitor process lead times and support schedule adjustments when orders change.
- Analyze material-related costs and recommend solutions to reduce wastage and overall cost.
