PRODUCTION PLANNING MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Production Planning & Scheduling:
• Develop and implement detailed production plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and available production capacity.
• Create production schedules for different departments (e.g., weaving, knitting, dyeing, and finishing), ensuring that the process flows smoothly.
• Adjust production plans to meet changes in demand, machine breakdowns, or supply delays.
• Coordinate with the production planning team to ensure delivery on time to customers. - Production Monitoring & Reporting:
• Track production progress, quality metrics, and material usage to ensure that targets are met.
• Provide regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and any potential issues to senior management.
• Review production outcomes and make adjustments to schedules as necessary to ensure timely deliveries. - Collaboration with Other Departments:
• Work closely with procurement, logistics, and sales departments to ensure alignment between production and demand.
• Coordinate with the sales team to understand customer orders and adjust production schedules accordingly.
• Communicate with the maintenance team to address any equipment issues that could affect production. - Staff Management & Development:
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the production planning team to achieve department goals.
• Provide training to production planners on new tools, techniques, or production processes.
• Ensure that staff follows safety protocols and industry regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduated from university with major: industrial management, production management or relevant
- English fluently
- 3+ years of experience in production planning, preferably within the textile industry or a related manufacturing field.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong ability to analyze production data, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to solve problems
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Have knowledge production planning software (ERP systems specific to the textile industry).
