Production Specialist

At Rens Original, we are looking for a Production Specialist in Vietnam to be responsible for pre-production and production execution and bulk orders follow-up. Roles And Responsibilities:
Pre-production execution:
Coordinate with manager/vendors for fabric commitments.
Coordinate with manager on risk assessment to follow up with vendors on the action plan on risk styles, ensure timeline and quality level to be reached.
Set up a Production Time & Action calendar with business units and vendors. Monitor and control the execution of the bulk production are conforming to the approved Time and Action Calendar.
Production Execution:
Monitor Vendors and ensure up-to-date and accurate production milestones information being provided through the required production tracking system for all Purchase Orders (POs).
As a status controller, monitoring the WIP (work in progress) on a daily basis, verifying the production information. Travel to factories may be required occasionally.
Act as a fact finder to dig out the reason for production problems and provide solutions.
Ensure timely submission of all Pre-production samples, Production samples and all required Production samples as required.
Liaise with QC on inspection schedule and work closely with QC, manager and business counterparts to resolve Quality Control (QC) issues promptly.
Travel to production sites and partners' offices for meetings.
Plus any other requirements as directed by management and manager.
What we expect from you:
1+ year experience in Merchandising, Procurement and/or Production Management.
Knowledge of materials sourcing, production planning.
General experience related to the fashion industry including and beyond footwear/apparel (accessories, paper products, embroidery, etc.)
Fluent in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken. Any other language is considered an advantage.
Ability to be flexible with working hours.
Willingness to learn and wear many hats - happy to help with certain admin and operations tasks.
