Project Costing Analyst (Footwear)

Position reports to the Costing Project Manager and responsible for data collecting and cost analyzing for all Costing projects. Validate Decker Costing standard on CBS and investigates variances with actual costs. Position assists management make important decisions for shoes and material cost standards based on cost analysis and benefits.
- Create Costing Project Charter and manage Costing projects.
- Responsible for providing insightful cost analysis and decision support to project manager for setting up special process cost standard, material freight cost matrix guidelines, and LOP cost standard.
- Validate Deckers Costing cost standards and investigates variances between standard and actual costs seasonally. Implement project cost analysis resulting in seasonal savings.
- Support cost reduction exercise and value engineering analysis. Offer cost engineering options throughout the product cycle to help drive cost down.
- Contribute to discussions, and complete report documents in a logical and organized manner. Communicate at all levels as required by job functions.
- Build and create relationships with functional departments and key vendors to ensure the best possible product and right cost.
