Project Engineer

1. Project coordinator:
Manage capital spending plans and programs, support the innovation process and utilize project management skills to assure all plant and corporate projects operate under control- GMP, Contractor safety, spending, schedule compliance. Comply with preventive maintenance requirements as defined by customers, the plant quality systems and the requirement to assure effective manufacturing capacity is available to meet production requirements. Manage spending effectively, develop annual budgets in detail, seek improvement in efficiency and results. Support and/or manage capital installation projects. Develop work standards involving safety and quality for both internal and external craft and technical personnel, assure compliance to standards. Take corrective action when necessary.
• Project Management
Plan and execute projects involved with repair and capital installation. Use resources effectively achieve expected results with spending and time constraints.
• Cost Management
Manage project spending, constantly seeking the least cost approach to assuring on-going process capability in meeting Division and Customer requirements. Develop budgets for department, work to reduce costs.
• Update Network, spending for projects
2. On Time In Full (OTIF) end to end delivery of assigned capital projects adhering to Unilever standards (including safety - quality - engineering standards) as well as success criteria defined by end user from beginning. Key processes are as bellow:
• Build concept/ technical solution and budgeting base on end user's requirement for new projects with alignment from BU & Country Engineering
• Coordinate with end user to build business case.
• Coordinate with end user and other stakeholders for URS preparation
• Do Technical evaluation during tendering.
• Do design reviews/ project reviews to optimize and ensure time-cost-quality of the project during phases of project implementation.
• Manage contractor's safety, work progress as well as project quality during implementation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, end-user, and other stake holders (quality, safety, maintenance) for testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with project admin & end-user & maintenance for project closure (Handover, Capitalization)
3. Build and deploy Automation & Digitalization Roadmap for the factory, including both Global/ Regional roll-out projects and local initiatives based on site business priorities.
4. Co-lead with Site Engineer Manager for EEM activities
5. Regional & Local stakeholder management.
6. Support the PDM(Project Delivery manager) to develop Strategy supplier's capabilities by projects.
7. Hands on commissioning and project management experience is key.
