Role Description The Project Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery, including planning scope and timelines, coordinating resources, and managing day-to-day execution.
The Project
Lead will facilitate communication among cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and ensure that project goals, quality standards, and budgets are met. Daily work includes monitoring progress, identifying risks, resolving issues, and reporting project status to management and clients. The role also involves mentoring team members, promoting best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of project management processes within Sun* Vietnam.
Qualifications
Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders in a technology or digital product environment.
Competence in risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making for complex projects.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in collaborative, multicultural settings.
Ability to document requirements, track progress, and report clearly using project management tools.
Background in software development, IT, or digital product delivery is highly beneficial.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience with Agile or other modern project management methodologies; relevant certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP) are a plus.
Proficiency in English; Vietnamese language skills are an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Ho Chi Minh City and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
