Assist to develop strategic, best practice, buildable and economical technical design solutions, to- gether with the Technical Manager and senior designers of different disciplines.
Provide focus on program, budget, compliance and change management to ensure the project is controlled and on track from an MEPF perspective
Manage project teams and deliver the MEPF process from design through to execution and commis- sioning on site.
Under the coordination of the Operation Management Board, implementing project management processes to be applied to all projects for topics related to C&S, MEPF or environmental consultancy.
- On the project base, act as representative of boydens vietnam towards external parties, in charge of, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Coordinate internal resources and Client/Operator/third parties/vendors for the flawless exe- cution of projects.
- Attend regular meetings (on work progress, coordination, design, etc.) with Client/Operator/all relevant consultants/third parties/vendors....
- Present and defend project concepts and other technicality related matters of the projects
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Managing additional tasks out of contract and propose VO with client under Operation Man- ager board approval.
In charge of daily management of his own team as assigned by the Operations management Bard, including but not limited to:
Prioritize projects and make planning for projects
Prepare and follow up on planning of his assigned teams
Coordinate with the design team on all aspects of the design
Provides guidance, managerial, technical support to complete project team
Managing the design process, quality control process for the projects to ensure design quality, especially the crucial calculation and outlining of the techniques
Take final responsibility on the projects quality towards operations management board
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Evaluate in general all engineers working under his management. Together with TLs of the dis- ciplines, evaluating technical competences of his engineers.
Propose recruitment for his/ her team to the management board and attend interviews to- gether with TL of disciplines, if necessary
Suggest on reward and promotion based on performance to OM Board
Together with the TLs, be responsible for knowledge management and development of his team
Be responsible for training program of his team.
Prepare periodic reports for management including status of budgets, variance/change claims, schedules, disputes, up-coming activities & safety records

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Certificate in design license Grade I minimum, following requirement of the Vietnamese Government
At least 8 years of experience working in mechanical design (especially HVAC systems), and/or 4 years within Boydens company
Be able to communicate fluently in English, in both written and oral commands
In-depth knowledge of international (EN) as well as local codes and standards
Solid technical background, with hands-on experience MEPF design
Be able to critically review the design works of other designers, control & ensure the quality of drawings to be send out.
Knowledge of construction site is an advantage
Excellent interpersonal/ communication skills
Solid organizational skill including attention to detail and multi-tasking skill
Be a team player and have strong problem-solving attitude
Good at Autocad, Naviswork and Revit softwares
Good at Microsoft Office
Good at planning skill
Good at time management skill
Willing to travel when required
