Purchasing and Logistic Executive

Job Description:
As a Purchasing and Logistics Executive at HMSP International (Vietnam, Australia, Hong Kong, UK), you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement and logistics operations to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products within our supply chain. We are looking for 2 candidates who will focus on the following industries: Ready to Eat Products, Building Materials, Agriculture, Frozen Seafood, Frozen Meat, Textiles and Printing. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Procurement Management:
- Source, negotiate, and procure goods and services from local suppliers while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock levels to meet production and sales demands.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.
Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to streamline logistics processes and reduce lead times.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays to ensure on-time delivery.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to procurement, import/export, and transportation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement and logistics activities.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the supply chain.
- Implement best practices and initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
