- Receive material development requests from customers and internal departments.
- Source and develop fabric suppliers with competitive price, quality, and lead time.
- Conduct fabric costing, price negotiation, and supplier evaluation.
- Follow up fabric development status, lab dips, handloom, strike-off, and bulk production
- Coordinate closely with Merchandising, QA/QC, Product Development, and Production teams to ensure smooth material supply.
- Monitor fabric delivery schedule and resolve any material-related issues.
- Maintain supplier database and continuously develop new fabric sources.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management.
- Other tasks assigned by management.
Yêu cầu
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in fabric purchasing/development in garment manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of woven fabric, material sourcing, and supplier management.
- Good negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with garment manufacturing process and material development flow.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Fluent in English or Chinese (speaking, writing, and communication).
