JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for advising and partnering with the Executive Management in shaping strategic direction, and particularly for translating strategy into specific action plans for each business unit; establishing strategic execution governance mechanisms, monitoring progress, and ensuring the strategy is implemented in the right direction, proactively identifying risks and proposing timely and appropriate adjustments.
MAIN DUTIES
A. Contribute to Company-level strategic direction
• Advise and partner with the Chairman/CEO and the Executive Management in developing, reviewing, and updating mid- to long-term strategies.
• Analyze the market, industry trends, competitors, growth opportunities, and strategic risks.
• Act as an independent challenger, providing strategic perspectives to support executive-level in decision-making.
B. Translate strategy into action plans for each business unit
• Lead the translation of the overall corporate strategy into specific objectives/ action plans for each business unit/division.
• Establish and standardize the KPI/OKR framework to ensure alignment between Company objectives and business unit objectives.
• Partner closely with business units to define and align the strategic action plans, including deliverables, implementation approach, timeline, resource requirements, and performance measurement framework.
C. Ensure strategy is executed effectively and in the right direction
• Establish the Strategic Execution Governance framework and periodic reporting processes.
• Coordinate the development of action plans and strategic execution roadmaps on an annual/quarterly/monthly basis.
• Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives across business units and measure KPI/OKR achievement levels.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks, provide early risk alerts, and propose mitigation or adjustment plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to resolve implementation issues and ensure alignment across divisions/ business units.
• Consolidate and report strategic execution results to the Chairman/CEO and Executive Management on a regular basis; recommend strategic adjustments when necessary.
• Propose key strategic programs/initiatives, while assessing feasibility and prioritization for implementation.
• Participate in overseeing strategic transformation programs to optimize operational effectiveness and strengthen execution capability.
• Implement other responsibilities from Chairman/CEO as assigned.
Yêu cầu
1. Major
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Master's degree/MBA from top-tier universities is preferred, with strong preference for candidates educated in the US/UK.
2. Work experiences
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an equivalent role (e.g., Corporate Strategy, Strategy Execution, Business Planning, Transformation, PMO, Chief of Staff, etc.).
- Preferably with proven experience working directly with the Chairman/CEO in an organization of similar scale.
- Preferably with experience working in organizations with over 1,000 employees, or within a corporate group structure/ fast-growth company.
- Candidates with experience in Finance, Banking, Securities, or Fintech are strongly preferred.
3. Competencies
- Strong strategic thinking and executive-level critical challenge capability.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to develop strategic action plans and translate strategy into actionable objectives.
- Solid understanding of KPI/OKR models and performance management frameworks.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and with C-levels.
- Strong capabilities in change management, risk management, and solving complex problems.
- Communication, presentation, and executive reporting skills.
4. Foreign language: English
5. Preferred
- Preferably with experience working in organizations with over 1,000 employees, or within a corporate group structure/ fast-growth company.
- Candidates with experience in Finance, Banking, Securities, or Fintech are strongly preferred.
