WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
1. Lean Project - Continuous Improvement Activities (50%)
o Participate as a core team member or subject matter expert on Continuous Improvement projects using lean tools, processes, methods, and/or philosophy.
o Co-Ownership of the Improvement Projects and responsible for the quality of the work and result.
o Support in the developing process maps, value stream maps, data capturing, facilitating simulations, and improvements implementing.
o Leading small process improvement projects using PDCA methodology.
o Deploy appropriate methodologies to problem-solving and support teams perform root causes analysis. Ensure the process for problem-solving is effective.
o Monitor and follow up with team about the completion of Lean event improvement actions. Ensure proper closure and effectiveness of the actions, and record the event on appropriate systems.
o Conduct lean assessment and cultural review to identify opportunities for improvement; and develop recommendation for action plans recommendations to management.
o Assist in A3 tool development, training, and upkeep for assigned Lean events.
o Perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.
2. Document Management System Coordinator (20%)
o Document the Visual Control, Value Stream Map, and other basic quality tools related to all teams within the company.
o Support the business in establishing and documenting "best practices".
o Support in the Develop and be the administrate of Quality & Lean Home Page
o Support Develop and manage Quality & Lean training courses in the Company Learning Management System
o Work closely with all departments in developing documentation for the continuous improvement programs, new operating procedures, work instructions, and working processes to make sure they match with company standards.
3. Quality Management system coordinator (20%)
o Take part in conducting risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
o Data gathering and analyzing to support management review.
o Assist in carrying out internal audits for ISO 9001-2015 Compliance
- Be the coordinator for the COQ (Cost of Quality) group and support the members to fulfill their roles.
4. Training & Development (10%)
- Assist in the implement training programs to improve the quality mindset and the continuous improvement mindset.
- Assist in the execution of all required quality & lean management training for branch employees.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering, or related fields
- Have at least 2 years in Quality Management Systems or LEAN activities
- Certificate in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt training preferred
- Hands-on experience in internal audit, developing procedures, instructions, training materials, and conducting training/coaching for team members
- Understanding service processes
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the department and across functions
- Be able to perform effective teamwork and good problem-solving skill
- Acknowledge data analysis or SPC tools
- Be patient in paperwork
- Active Listening: The ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the discussed points, ask questions as appropriate, and not interrupt at inappropriate times.
- Critical Thinking: The ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Monitoring skill: the ability to monitor/assess your performance and others to make improvements or take corrective action.
