The QA Supervisor is responsible for controlling the quality of imported and distributed food ingredients, ensuring compliance with international quality standards, supplier regulations, and current legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate food ingredient quality from domestic and international suppliers per food safety regulations, quality standards and customer's requirements.
• Verify certificates of analysis (COA), legal documents, and relevant supplier materials.
• Collaborate with
purchasing and logistics to inspect goods upon arrival, ensuring compliance with quality and specifications.
• Conduct sampling, testing, and submit applications for product self-declaration and relevant licenses.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international food safety regulations and update quality standards (HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Address quality complaints and collaborate with teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Assist the sales team by providing detailed ingredient quality information to meet customer and market demands.
• Prepare regular quality reports, analyze data, and suggest improvements to minimize risks.
• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in QA, particularly in food ingredient quality control in trading or manufacturing companies.
• Knowledge of international food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000).
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities.
• Good English skills to work with international suppliers.
