Quality Assurance (English CV & Bike Industry Required / Fluency in business English)

A growing focus area of Pon.Bike Asia is quality and delivery management at component suppliers. Pon.Bike Asia is currently looking for a Quality & Supply specialist. A multi-faceted position that focuses on both quality (products ánd processes) at component factories and besides focuses on the delivery of components in both the right quantities and times. A demanding position allowing ambitious people to grow both organizational, technical and implementation skills. The Quality & Supply specialist is based in Shanghai.
Role & responsibilities quality
• Carry out process audits at suppliers, both on manufacturing and supporting processes, including process capability and optimization potential. Translate findings in practical improvement plans
• Work together with supplier staff (workers, team and management) to get process optimization implemented
• Act as quality inspector (both process and product) during first production runs, either on component manufacturing and/or complete product assembly
• Conduct inspection at vendors according to AQL & specifications.
• Generate inspection report for each inspection at vendor and debrief with vendor responsible.
• Alert to internal related departments on rejected inspection for delivery re-schedule and coming CAR follow up.
• Consolidate weekly inspection reports for SOP audit enhancement and process flow chart/PFMEA/Control plan updates.
