Quality Engineer

Act as the site quality SME for training: own the quality training matrix, training plan and training records as controlled documents.
Run certification and re-certification for special processes (IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001, ESD, cleanroom) and assess competency before operators and inspectors are released to a station.
Train and qualify internal trainers and provide competence evidence for customer and certification audits.
Develop and maintain PFMEA, process flow and Control Plan with Engineering, and update them after every escape, change or new failure mode.
Verify Control Plan implementation on the floor through layered process audits, SPC on key characteristics and mistake-proofing.
Perform FAI / FNI and verify that engineering changes (ECN / TA) are implemented and validated before release.
Monitor and report quality KPIs (IQC, IPQC, OQC, FPY, scrap and rework, CoPQ) and verify the integrity of the data behind them, including data from partners.
Support KPI follow-up and process control at partner sites, and act as backup QE when required.
Follow partner quality performance: KPI reviews, process audits and NPI readiness (FAI, PPAP, sample verification).
Raise SCAR for material issues found at site, review supplier CAPA / 8D together with the SQE team, and verify effectiveness.
Lead customer complaint investigation and 8D within the required response time; drive containment, root cause analysis (5Why, Fishbone, DMAIC) and verified corrective action.
Lead improvement projects (Kaizen, Six Sigma, digital and AI-enabled quality tools) with measured results, and share lessons learned across sites.
Perform internal audits and support customer and certification audits (ISO 9001, ISO 13485).
Maintain quality documentation, calibration and MSA / GR&R for measurement systems in scope.
