Quality Inspection

GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for ensuring that products sourced from SE Asia suppliers comply with Company specifications and the safety requirements of the distribution market.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage inspection program & perform pre-shipment inspection at Crayola's suppliers. Assess product's conformance to specifications. Document inspection results in writing, with appropriate photographs. Communicate results to manager & supplier as required.
- Audit factory QA records to collect data related to product manufacturing, support production test plan requirements, or to collect data to support a problem-solving team.
- Execute the factory line audits and recommend CARs for improvements.
- Lead structured problem-solving teams to identify root cause and implement permanent corrective action in response to supplier quality issues.
- Support the commercialisation of new products in supplier factories. Identify product quality risks throughout the product development process and communicate to the product development team.
- On-site review of Quality/Ethical GAPs as assigned
