Overview
TOPPA Solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to work onsite for our client, a leading international financial institution based in Ho Chi Minh City.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of technology projects, ensuring timelines, scope, quality, and delivery objectives are achieved.
Plan, monitor, and control project activities including scope, schedule, resources, risks, dependencies, and issue management.
Coordinate effectively with business teams, development teams, infrastructure teams, QA teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate project meetings including kick-off, planning, status updates, risk discussions, and stakeholder reviews.
Track project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including: Project plans and schedules, Technical/system flow diagrams, Status reports and delivery metrics, Risk and issue logs, Meeting minutes
Work closely with technical teams to review requirements, validate solution designs, and identify technical gaps or risks.
Coordinate SIT/UAT activities and support release/deployment readiness across environments (Dev, SIT, UAT, Production).
Communicate project status, risks, and key decisions clearly to stakeholders and management teams.
Support continuous improvement by providing delivery insights and recommendations.
Mandatory Requirements
From 5 - 10 years of experience in Project Management within software development or technology-related projects.
Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) for working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of system architecture and application design, including: Backend-Frontend interactions, API and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, event-driven architecture), Data flows and system dependencies
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and validate with engineering teams.
Experience reviewing technical documents, identifying risks, gaps, dependencies, and proposing mitigation approaches.
Familiarity with databases (Relational/NoSQL) and basic query concepts.
Strong logical thinking, problem-solving capability, and structured approach to project execution.
Experience coordinating testing activities (SIT/UAT), release management, and deployment planning.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and project deliverables in dynamic environments.
